This allows you to access a drive located on your machine through a TS session. E.g. You will be able to save reports from the RS server directly to the shared L drive.
Mapping the drive
- Right click on the remote desktop icon and select edit
- Go to the Local Resources tab, select more, expand the drives section and select the drive you wish to bring across to the TS session.
- Click 'Ok' once you have selected the drive, go back to the general tab and select Save.
- Close out of the remote desktop window and connect to the TS session as you normally would.
Accessing The Drive Within The TS Session
The drive can be found under 'This PC'. It will be shown as the drive letter you mapped and your machine name. In this case it's 'L on Reykjavik'.
